Nine Pound Hammer / Dirty Sweet
Great news, particulary for Benno: one of his alltime favourite bands Nine Pound Hammer (USA) is coming to town, and guess who's doing the support act?? Yessss... it's us: your own favourite whitetrash combo from he Lowlands! It's all gonna happen at De Waerdse Tempel in Heerhugowaard on August 28. Besides that, we also had the privilege to play with one of my favourite bands of this moment Dirty Sweet, at the Rambler on April 29. That was a surprise, they were added to the line-up that same week cause they were having a day off in their tour schedule and probably saw that we were playing at the Rambler that evening. So they must've said to themselves: "this might be our only chance we ever get to play with the almighty whitetrash gods of Holland, uhh the world.." And so it happened, and it was an absolute BLAST! For now the summer is coming so don't take it easy, drink too much and we'll see you in August again. Not at the Women's Night at Swaf unfortunately while Dim's still on holiday then, but we'll start again at the Skatefest in Roelofarendsveen! See ya!

Last friday D-day finaly came along for our third album 'Live in Bochum' to be released and I gotta say it was a HELL of a PARTY! The Volendammer Vishandel got the party started dressed up in German "lederhosen" and even messing up one of our songs "One Horse Town". Sleazy New Year / Still Alive (2) / New Album (2)
First of all: all of ya a fuckin sleazy new year!! And yes: we're still alive but as you might've noticed, haven't been kickin' much lately. We just had a lot of other things on our minds which caused the low beaverish activities. But now with a fresh new year ahead we've got some good plans for this year. First we'll be working on the release of our third album. The artwork should hopefully be ready this month, the photo-shoot finally took place in December and after that the whole release process can start. We're aiming at March for the release party to take place, stay tuned (I'll prommisse to keep you up-to-date this year...). Secondly we're thinkin about going to the States again this year. It's about fuckin time that we'll hang out with the White Barons and & 7 Dirty Words again!! But first the album release, and than it's time to do some good shows in Holland too. We 'll be workin on it.

Still Alive (but lazy) / New Album / New Gigs
Hey there... So you might have thought that we broke up or something, having some sort of radio silence from march until now but hell no, just been too lazy to update this site... Actually we worked quite hard on our third album which will hopefully be released leter this year. We've only got to do some minor mixing and then master it and then we'll see if the world is ready for this masterpiece! Hell, we think it's great!! The best we made so far... Thanks to Patrick from Studio 195 for pushing us to the limits again. We'll keep ya informed about titels, labels, releaseparties and such so stay tuned.
Besides that, we'll be gettin our asses back on stage too: check out the gigs stage. We'll be playing with Rene Sg in Coevorden and the Zomerpop and Breda Barst festivals are on the agenda too! So.. haul ass up there if ya can!!

We working hard on writing new songs and it's gonna be a true Beavershot album again which (again) shall bring us World Domination! Friday 17th of April we'll be playing The Rambler again in Eindhoven and there we'll meet Jason from The White Barons again! Jason is on tour with his other band Everything Must Go from California and we couldn't resist not jamming with them. New Year...
First of all I wanna wish everybody a happy new year blahblahblah.... Now I've got to tell ya what plans we've got for 2009 and all that stuff, but we actually never have any plans... We'll just see what comes around though there might be a chance that we'll record a new album this year. Hey... so there's some sort of a plan after all... Last year was fun especially the tour with the White Barons. Not mentioned before, but we also said goodbye to our "manager" Darkroom Dave. Thanks Dave, for the support on the road all these years! Now we've got to do it all ourselves again, and we all know how good we're at doin' it ourselves...hehe. On Valentines day, February the 14-th, we've got a good show at the P3 in Purmerend together with The Spades and Human Alert, so if you're in for a romantic night, don't go there.....

European tour with the White Barons / Island In The Sin
Great newz... The White Barons(USA) have asked us to join them om their European tour in August. We were suppost to do just one show with them, but the Swedish band they would tour with cancelled, so they asked us. And don't think we feel like second choice, no way! So that means two shows in Germany, three in Holland and three in Finland. The last three will be with I Walk The Line from Finland. We still got two dates open for shows in Holland: the 23-rd and 24-th of August, so all ya bookers: ya know what to do, and do it before it's too late...

Besides the tour we're also playin' at the Island In The Sin festival on Ameland. A festival organized by our friends from the Pinheadz. So haul ass up to the ferry in Harlingen on the 19-th of July, and we'll see if we can give this Island back to the sea...

Unfortunately we had to cancel our show at P3 last saturday, cause I was fuckin' ill. I'm not gonna bother ya with details, but if ya realy wanna know: just ask Benno....

Beavershot WINS the "Westfriese Popprijs"
Yess boys and girls, yesterday Beavershot won the Westfriese Popprijs, a local award for the band with the most achievements in 2007. We, as lazy white boys, were surprised to hear it, but the damage is done. We can't change it, we won't change it. But we're very proud to be the winners!!!!! What we've won: eternal fame, a photoshoot with whores and shotguns, 2 days of recording time in a real studio, a nice piece of artwork, 2 ounces of coke and 17 cases of Heineken!!!!!!!!! And it's the beginning of a new era: Beavershot will continue their fight for world domination. The rural revolution has begun!!!!! Rednecks unite!!!! well, thats it. enjoy yer pizza and i hope you will have sex within the next 16 minutes. I know i will....

USA BLITZKRIEG 2007
So, we're back again. And what can we say... it was FUCKIN' AWESOME MAN!!! We had an absolute blast hangin' out with all you fuckin' outlaws over there. We played with great bands, in great joints, got very drunk and enjoyed the places we crashed at Chuck, Brian and JD very much! We wanna thank everybody who made our USA BLITZKRIEG 2007 tour a fuckin' great experience! Special thanks for all of our friends from 7 Dirty Words who made the last three days the best of the whole tour! We got quite some publicity over here in Holland because of the tour: interviews at "Westfriesland Radio" and a tour anouncement in the NHD newspaper. Actually, tomorrow an interview about the tour itself will be published in the NHD too. And of course, our TOUR DIARY on the music site www.musicfrom.nl. You can read it here, sorry it's in dutch. I'll put it on our site later too together with some pictures on pics.beavershot.nl. So you can get a bit of a picture about two weeks of Rock 'n Roll!

We'll probably be doing some shows in San Fransico too: check out the gig list! At the Sacramento gig, the Gearhead Records staff will probably drop by, so who knows what will happen next: WORLD DOMINATION AT LAST???

Just a short but historical note: as you can see at the gigs section we're workin' on a USA tour! We've got 5 gigs confirmed at this point, but there's still some room between the 22-th and the 28-th, so don't hesitate to contact us if you've got room for us somewhere in the south-west of the USA.

But first... tonights Ladies Day at Kermis Hoorn in Swaf.....

Unfortunately they rescheduled the ODD Hell's Kitchen gig to a date I'm on a well deserved holiday, so we had to cancel that one. Furtheron we 're workin' on new songs and got some plans to go to Germany again lateron this year. Got some realy good reviews on our album Threesevennine. I'll put them on this website as soon as possible...uhh yeah right... See ya!

First reviews on THREESEVENNINE / Hamburg gig
Yes! The first reviews on our new album have been published and they're quite okay as you can see if you can read Dutch. If you can't: they're sayin' we're the greatest Rock 'n Roll band in the entire world (sorry Suppersuckers...) and it's a shame we're not tourin' over the entire globe yet... If you can read Dutch... well read for yerselves...

CD Release Party an absolute blast!!
Damn... Hope you didn't miss our Release party last Saturday... Cause if you did, you really missed something!! It was a helluvanite: our second album TREESEVENNINE has officially been released! The place was loaded, the mood was Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n Roll and I'm fuckin' sure as hell everybody had a good time! Th1rt3en played a really good show: thanks a lot guys!! I think I can say that we ourselves also did not do too bad at all on the stage: the crowd went wild! Hell yeah, what else can I say... Thanks Johny Redneck for the music, thanks too all the beautiful girls for showing up, thanks Argos for the hospitality and the cold beers and of course thank everyone who bought our album!

Now it's time to get reviews on our album and puttin' some effort again in getting some gigs again. A gig in Hamburg(D) is close at hand, so keep an eye on out gig section. Coming Saturday we'll be at Radio Westfriesland to do some promotional blabla. Last week we already got some pretty nice interviews in some news papers so we've got ourselves pretty much in the spotlights at the moment!

New album / Beavershot on www.myspace.com
It's almost there: the completion of the recording, mixing and mastering of our new album is close at hand, and damn.... we're almost speechless about the result! It's fuckin' brilliant: it raw, it's mean, it's load, it's everything you need when you're in a sleazy, white trashing mood, drinkin' loads of beer being surrounded by lots of beautiful naked women!! Patrick did a hell of a job in his studio 195, pushing us to our limits for seven days, and we feeding him beer and inspiration for the perfect mix. Now the hunt for a label willing to release this master piece will start and hopefully we won't have to wait much longer before we can release it. We'll put a sample on www.myspace.com/beavershot soon!

So yes, we've also created our own Beavershot account on www.myspace.com. So more Beaverstuff on the web. Dave is managing this so it might even stay up-to-date!! Leave a note, become a friend and don't forget to check out all our other friends!!

Beavershot sold!!
Last week Beavershot has been sold. Two guys decided it could no longer go on this way and put all their money together and so they bought Beavershot. They've got big plans: want Beavershot to dominate the world of dirty Rock'n'Roll, sell millions of records, doin' big stadium tours, sell lots of merchandise and that way makin' big money out of the three beavers...
Unfortunately this is not entirely truth: they just bought themselves a Beavershot gig at an auction, organized for the benefit of the SJJO (youth) foundation. Don and his neighbour Dennis are gonna organize a party at the brand new Denniz' Bar, and we're gonna sleazy it up!! Should be somewhere this summer...

Feb 19, 2006
CD Recordings, new gigs
At last we've made a decision about the studio where we're gonna record our next album: it's gonna be Studio 195 at Wernhout, wich is beneath Breda near the Belgium border. So at the end of March and the start of April we'll be down south to put some loud whitetrash rock'n'roll on cd for ya!! There are also some new dates at the gigs section, so we'll see ya'll in March!

Jan 3, 2006
New year, Swaf gig
First of all: a fuckin' great new year to ya'all loaded with sex, drugs and rock'n'roll!! We're gonna kick off 2006 the 22-nd at Swaf together with The Gecko's and out friends the Dillemas. Don't miss it, don't be late: the Dillemas are gonna be WILD!! The show at The Waerdse Tempel is postponed to somewhere in March...

Dec 2, 2005
Breda Suckcity, 2006 gigs, new album
After 7 weeks we're hittin' the road again, and we'll be goin' way down south to Breda Suckcity!! A great festival put together by our friends of the Speedcocks. Their guitar player Bas is going to South America for a year so it's also some sort of farewell party. It's gonna be a hell of a party together with The Gecko's, Milwaukee Wildman, of course the Speedcocks themselves and more!! So, come along and say goodbye to Bassie...
We've also got the first two gigs in 2006 confirmed: at the 16-th or 17-th of januari we'll be playin' at a new club called "The Waerdse Tempel". A big new stage, and we're gonna test it the roof will hold... At the 22-th we're playin' at our favourite bar Swaf. The other band is not yet confirmed but we'll also bring some special guests: Fred, Boolus, Jurg and a fabulous guitar player will present themselves for the first time in public with their new band called "Dillema" (at least for now). Don't miss it: it's gonna ROCK!
Last but not least we're almost ready for recording our second album. We still haven't decided yet wich studio we're gonna call home for about a week, but the decision is close at hand. So hopefully the record will be released before next summer!

Sept 22, 2005
Please welcome: Seth!!
Yes, he's there... I can proudly present my new-born son, listening to the name of Seth!! Last Saturday he took his first look into this world and decided to hang around for a while. Everyone's doin' fine, besides of course the lack of sleep... Yep: "we're a happy family..."

Sept 14, 2005
New Beavershot logo
As you could see I've changed the "front door" of our website! It's got our new logo in it, with the eagle. Stickers and a backdrop with the same logo are on their way, and I'm even thinkin' bout a redesign of the rest of this site. But that will probably not happen very soon, as I'm about to become a proud father again these days. So I'm about to get stuck in diapers and loads of shit...hehe
Keepin' ya posted...

Sabbatical September month
Sorry guys, no Beaver shows this month... We could've played an acoustic/low-fi set at the Zomerpop festival, but we decided not to do so for various reasons... But don't worry, October's already got four gigs on the list: a great "Westfriesland Rocks" festival at R17, a radio show at Podialand, a gig with The Apers and last but not least: we're gonna blast Nirwana Dronten again together with the Remones! I've put some reviews of our previous Nirwana gig online. A dutch column of one of our biggest fans, Shavers leadsinger Johannes, taken from the WestfrieslandRocks website and an english column from Marcella, Nirwana's "Head-Rockbitch", taken from her weblog Shavergirl. I know the links below with some samples of our new songs didn't work. Somebody (won't mention his name...) forgot to upload the actual samples... Now they work!
See ya...

KINKFM playin' Beavershot
Yesterday, the 3-rd of August, we've made our debut on national radio at the KINKFM station! Every afternoon a song of a talented new band is being broadcasted in radio show called Joke!. Well even if it was a joke, we still enjoyed them playin' Whitetrash Cowboy. You can listen to it here (mp3) if you've missed it!
I've also put some samples of our demo recording session of May this year online as I promissed earlier. Listen to some samples of: Mount Beaver Summercamp (mp3)
Shaved (mp3)
40 Bucks (mp3)

Swaf gig cancelled/Beavershot goes Dron(k)ten again
Due to some miscommunication our gig in Swaf at the 11-th of August has been cancelled, but we'll be doing another show sometime later this year. Probably with TurboZekero, some great motherfuckers doin' songs from, well guess who... And we'll return to Dronten later this year: the 15-th of Oktober we'll be playin' with the Remones. It's gonna be a hell of a ROCK'N'ROLL party, so make sure you'll get there in time!

Beavershot goes acoustic...
Hey! First of all my apologies for being (again) such a lazy "webmaster", and keepin' you guys waitin' for news for such a long time... Let's just say I don't think it's very Rock'nRoll to spend my free time behind a fuckin' computer... But I'll try keepin' you posted a bit more regularly.
Last saterday's Dronten gig was a blast! We had a special guest in MC's tourvan and thus also on stage, in the person of "Mr Shaver" Johannes himself. We did a great, hilarious version of "Mount Beaver Summercamp" together, and it ROCKED! It's a shame not that many people were a witness of this duet. Marcella took some great pics of this, wich I've put on the site. Oh yeah, I've also put the Stairway pics online by the way...
In May we've done some recording of our new songs on our 4 track recorder in our rehearsal studio again. The results are not bad at all for such a "lowfi recording". I'll put some samples online soon!
And last but not least: we're gonna do an acoustic show at "Radio Westfriesland" on the 8th of October. We agreed to play there a while ago, but in the meanwhile they've moved to a new studio where they can't have us playing at full speed. So they asked if we could do an acoustic show. And while listening to the acoustic/country album "Must've been Live" from the allmighty Supersuckers, we didn't have to think very long before we decided that this is quite a challenge for us. So, if you can receive "Radio Westfriesland", tune your radio to 103.9 FM every saterday between 19:00-21:00, and you might catch us the 8th of October.

Four shows cancelled in May!
Howdy boys and girls, here some few lines dropped by yer favourite bassplayer of all times (no, not Lemmy...) It's about time somebody filled in some lines for all yer hunry rock'n'roll-addicts. We had some great shows last couple of months, all with some great bands. Our gig with the almighty Apers was one big fuckin beerblast (well, maybe that's why we played so crappy), but it was a good rock'n'roll-night. Last Saturday we had our 2nd Smash and Dash-show and hell, we played like the devil had taken our souls!! (I thought he already did...)
May is a quiet month for Beavershows, due to some holiday business and Asmodeus Spain and USA-shows we had to cancel four shows, but let's take a look at the brightside of this: Dim can promote us in Calella, in Vancouver and in L.A., and I bet yer ass he's gonna do so..(if not:we must shoot him)... The Beavershot Worldwide Domination is close at hand!!!!
SPREAD THE EVIL !!!!!

Beavershot review in the Penthouse!
Last sunday we played at Staddijk in Nijmegen with Judas Ville. The few people who were there had a great time and so did we. On our way back home we stopped at a gasoline station for some drinks, meatballs and of course some highly intellectual lecture. So I decided to buy a copy of the february issue of the Penthouse, 'cause it had some "good interviews" in it... While going through the Penthouse I got to the album review section, and, hey fuck, take a look at that: we're fuckin' in it!! They reviewed our album "Kings of Dirt" and they like it! Now that's what I call a great way to end a great weekend.

Some more reviews have been published the last few months on several websites/magazines. Here they are:
Penthouse
www.zwaremetalen.com
www.fileunder.nl
Sorry, they're all in dutch...

Happy new year!!
First of all I want to wish everybody a fuckin' great sleazy new year. This year started out alright at Wogpop together with among others The Gecko Brothers! It was a great party: the twentyfith aniversary of Wogpop showed that there's only one place to be the first of Januari! The 22-nd we'll be playing at Parkhof, Alkmaar with Rock City Morgue: the band of former White Zombie bassplayer Sean Yseult from the States. Be there...

December 19, 2004
New gigs, new pics, new songs!
Some new gigs have been confirmed: Nijmegen and Alkmaar have been added to the list. Alkmaar (Atlantis) will probably be the last official Smash & Dash gig from the tour we busy rollin' out over the Dutch lowlands. Also put some more (old) pics on the photo section AND a picture of our so-called manager "Regelneef Deef". Damn, he's cool: mothers and fathers, keep your doughters away when he's in town... At Wogpop we'll probably present some brand new songs, so don't you dare to miss that!

Nirwana gig cancelled
Unfortunately the gig at Nirwana this saturday with Peter Pan Speedrock has been cancelled due to some miscommunication. Though we agreed to play at the Nirwana Summer festival in May, so Dronten, don't worry, you won't have to wait for too long...

Rawk & Roll Monsterball, more gigs...
Damn, the Rawk & Roll Monsterball was fuckin' great! Five loud playin' bands and we havin' the great honour to play before Batmobile. Our first gig down south and the crowd went wild... Yep, had a lot of fun at the Mezz!!

And some new gigs confirmed: Dronten (with PPS), Hoorn, Nibbixwoud and Oss, get ready!!

Gbob disaster...
Yesterday we've played our shortest, and without doubt most worthless gig ever at the Global Battle of the Bands, in the Melkweg, Amsterdam. I guess we played less than 4 minutes, and apparently the stage-technicians were so confused about that, that they forgot to turn on the monitor speakers on stage. And you know what happens when people can't hear each other playing on stage? Total CHAOS!! Oh well, fuck that, don't think we'll ever join a band battle anymore. Playing on lousy amps and no sound check: it's definetly not our kind of game...

But believe me, the Rawk & Roll Monsterball is gonna be good!!! Lookin' forward to that. Have you checked the movie-clip below yet?

Rawk & Roll Monsterball 2004!!
As y'all know, we'll be playing at the Rawk & Roll Monsterball at the Mezz in Breda next sunday. Our first gig down south, and hell, we're ready for it! Dim has just returned from his tour through the States with his other band Asmodeus, and can't wait to get behind his drums again. Here's a great movie-clip of the Rawk & Roll Monsterball. But first we'll probably gonna have our shortest gig ever at the Melkweg this monday. Get there and give us your support!!

Oktober 24, 2004
Beavershot at 25-th aniversary of WOGPOP
January the 1-st, 2005 we'll be playing at the 25-th edition of the Wogpop festival in Wognum. We've played there before and it's always a great start of the year, so if you still got some energy left after new years eve, you know where you gotta be!

New site - More reviews - Melkweg gig
Yes... as you can see the new website has gone live today!! A brand new design, and a lot better if you ask me, but hey, I've made the fuckin' thing so of course I think it's better!! The content is still quite the same, and there's still some work to do, but for now it'll do just fine...

And again some more reviews on our album "Kings of Dirt" and whatayathink: again some great reviews!! They come from the Aardschok magazine, the Aloha magazine and the biggest newspaper ever, from our local town De Weere: the Dorpsparade! Check 'm out:

BEAVERSHOT PLAYING AT THE "ZWARTE CROSS" FESTIVAL
Fuckin' great news from the east: we're invited to play at the Zwarte Cross Festival in Halle (Achterhoek). A three day festival with Rock 'n Roll, motor races, stunts and of course lots of beer!! May 30, 2003
This month we've recorded our latest songs again on our 4-track recorder in our "rehearsal studio". I'll put some great new songs on the music section of this site soon. Coming sunday we'll also be in a "real" studio to do some recording. We might wanne use some of this recordings on our upcomming album later this year. We will certainly put something on the site when it's finished!!

One year and three months after we recorded it, we've got a review on our demo "Wanna Go Fast?" in the music magazine OOR. Lucky (the guy who reviewed it, and bandmember of some former bands we've played in) said we know how to write a good song, but that it sounded a bit "untidy". And being honest, he's got a point there but hey, most of the songs were new at that time and never even been played live before. He advised us to go back to our rehearsal joint and practice... Well mr. Lucky, you could have taken some time to check out how we sound one year and three months later, after more than twenty shows: WE'LL ROCK YOUR FUCKIN' BALLS OUT!!! I'll put the review on the music section lateron, but you'dd beter just read the Car Kulture Deluxe review!!

We've got some new merchandise: two different T-shirts. They're realy good. I'll put them on the "Stuff to buy" section lateron. You can order them by sending us am email or buy them at one of our gigs.

And of course some new gigs...

April 16, 2003
As some of you might know, there is, or actualy was, another Dutch band called Beavershot from Rotterdam. They're a psycho-/rockabilly band, and to avoid some confusion (and cause we were smart enough to register the name Beavershot as a brand) we agreed that they changed their name to 69Beavershot. So make sure BEAVERSHOT is playing when you want to see US!!

Again some new gigs: check 'm out!!

April 2, 2003
Some new gigs have been confirmed: April the 26-st with Susans Garden in Noord Scharwoude and May the 2-nd with The Hopes in Den Helder. Check out the gigs section!! We've also been asked to play at the Dijkpop festival, and hell, we wanna play, but one of us (I wont mention the motherf$%@#) is touring across Canada that month.... Damned... But hey, maybe next year!!!

March 2, 2003
Sunday the sixth of April we'll be playing in the finals of the "Grote Prijs van Lutjebroek", a band competition which will take place during the Taaipop festival!! With three other bands we'll "battle" to determine who will be on the official line-up of the Taaipop festival 2004. So come down to Lutjebroek, give us your support, and who knows...

February 24, 2003
We've got the review of our demo that wil be in issue #7 hotrod magazine Car Kulture DeLuxe from The States by email. Read it here!! Don't you just gotta have the demo yourself after reading this? So order one from the "Stuff to buy" section of our website. And it's true we're planning to record a full length CD somewhere this year. We'll keep you informed.

There'll be a review of our demo "Wanna Go Fast" in issue #7 of hotrod magazine Car Kulture DeLuxe from The States!! Miz Dub wrote to us: "I enjoyed your disc, even though it's got that piggy, oinky thing going on, and as a female, I "should not" like it. BUT I DID! It rocked!" ... Can't wait for the end of February when issue#7 comes out!!

Some new gigs have been confirmed, keep checking out the gigs section!! Man you don't wanna miss a show don't you??!! We'll be playing in Winkel, Medemblik and Lutjebroek the coming two months. And we'll be playing some new songs again!!!

We played live at Radio West Friesland at saterday evening, the 14th of December. So that after hearing all our songs from the demo in November, you could hear us play them live together whith four new ones, and man..... it ROCKED!!!!

See ya...
